The project of the National Museum Boris Hristov is inspired by the timeless musical-performing heritage of Boris Hristov. It brings together opera theatres, orchestras, conductors and soloists from Sofia, Burgas, Varna, Plovdiv, Ruse and Stara Zagora to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the great opera artist, teacher and philanthropist. The programme combines the serious operatic repertoire with the artistic banter that accompanies the activities of the opera performers - as a kind of "duel", a competition and a joking demonstration of supremacy.
